Our “PMA” range of plate axial flow fans are a robust, quiet and reliable solution, they offer a wide range of sizes which have a multitude of ventilation applications ranging from gymnasiums to warehouse or agricultural extract and supply to lift shaft ventilation. These axial fans are the answer to your ventilation needs for both commercial and  industrial installations. The low profile design and square plate leaves a neat installation for any job.

Our axial fans are powered by an external rotor motor and fitted sickle blade, this means that the airflow direction and degree of pitch are fixed at point of purchase. They are available in both single phase and three phase variations, standard permanent split capacitor (PSC) models or high energy efficient EC (Electronically commutated) models with ball bearings which enable operation in any attitude or angle.

Their design offers generally an IP (Ingress protection) rating of IP54 and their low frame offers small installation depth, one simple design with many options. The axial blade moves air in a parallel motion with the motors shaft both in sucking (“Suckers”) airflow and blowing (“Blowers”) airflow directions. They are versatile in their mounting options with axial basket guards, axial flat guards, concave axial guards, horizontal lug fixing guards and vertical lug fixing guards. The IP level means they re suitable for both covered and uncovered (exposed) locations so can be used on the outside of buildings sucking the airflow out. Furthermore our fans are Class F as standard unless stated otherwise and come complete with the capacitor pre-wired into the terminal box although flying lead versions are also available in some sizes.

Just like Russian dolls our range of basket mount fans come in a sequence of blade diameter sizes 250mm/300mm/350mm/400mm/450mm/500mm/550mm/630mm/710mm/800mm/900mm.
